“ Small little spot here in Springfield. I am not from here so I was looking for a good Mexican food place. Walked in and realized it's a family orientated restaurant. The servers were really good and nice. Now the food... probably the best Mexican dish I ever had. Highly recommend them ”
“ There is actually an abundance of Mexican cuisine in Springfield... well, cuisine that's called Mexican. But Amigos actually is a real Mexican restaurant that serves true Mexican cuisine. A family owned and operated establishment, Amigos is one of the oldest such restaurant in town. The pride they take in the food and service is apparent; our waiter worked his tail off. The food prep was prompt, and the portions were generous. Considering the fact that the place was pretty much at capacity when we were served, the promptness really surprised me. I had the Bistek a la Mexicana; the beef was perfectly done, tender and juicy, and the flavor was wonderful. It was better then the last time I had the dish, and that was in Mexico City. The guacamole was yummy, and the refried beans was perfect: the beans have to be good for the restaurant to be good. My family and I are elated that we found this place, and will be returning soon. Easily five stars! ”
